Open the workspace
Choose a server → Storage workspace, or enter through Maintenance. Administrator access and HTTPS are required. Refresh live inventory and check Host & helper for available capabilities.
Plan expansion
The planner provides per-vdev projections and a disk-by-disk checklist. It does not start replacements. Estimates exclude allocation overhead; missing identities and nested replacement layouts remain unknown. Partial replacement does not unlock the larger capacity of a RAIDZ vdev.
Review before execution
Interactive changes show a command preview, require typed confirmation and use a single-use submission. The helper rechecks identities and properties immediately before execution. Supported actions depend on the installed OpenZFS version and pool capabilities.
Work with datasets
Create filesystems or reserved zvols, set or inherit supported properties, and mount or unmount permitted paths. Property tables retain local, inherited and default sources. Snapshot recovery supports exact snapshot operations, holds, clones and reviewed rollback.
